An Offering to her Lord…written by Shay Arcadia

Her Lord nuzzled in the arms of His Lady. “My hunger grows and there is nothing to sustain me,” He whispered.

Slipping her fingers through His hair she cooed, “Hunger no more, my love. For all you need to be fulfilled in love and life can be found at my heart.”

As she took Him to her breast He drank from her essence and was nourished by her soul. And so two became one as their energies entwined in harmonious balance of perfect love and perfect trust.

Bevin Peters has been walking a path of nature for his entire adult life. Many times over, he has taken part at festivals and gatherings, but always as an observer. Not taken by religion, there is no immediate affiliation. He has been attending pagan events his entire life, despite a hiatus here and there, starting with Green Dome Temple when he was an adolescent. His personal tradition is to honor magick of all forms, no matter what religion they pertain to, and to honor the science of magick as well. As a servant to the land, he has worked to help many festivals at Our Haven, and looks forward to serving more.

Boxxy LaCroix - Hi, my name is Boxxy. I have been spinning for 3 years, starting with poi and have moved on to staff, fans, hoop, flow wand, and a few others. I started doing performances for various organizations at Miami University and have been promoting the spinning community at the KOIPound art space. Later this year, I will be performing with “the Elements of Harmony” for BronyCon and will be heading a new fire troupe out of northern Ohio starting this fall. My personal approach to fire performance is to use a foundation in freedom of movement to create an expressive dance that not only entertains, but also shares something personal with the audience. As such, the workshops I will be running at this year’s Horn & Honey will focus on body movement and expression to help people push their concept of spinning from doing a series of tricks to using props as an extension of their body. I will also be teaching fire safety to help keep our community safe when around fire performers. I’m very excited to share my skills at such a unique event and look forward to learning from all of you as well.
